Implementing Technology

Difficulties Implementing Technology Threatens Industry

It is no secret that new types of technologies can cause problems, but apparently HDTV has
some unforeseen problems with consequences that could be surprisingly deep set. The
problem that HDTV has created is namely the fact that many local TV stations refuse to let
satellite companies and cable TV companies use to pay for their HDTV signals without it.

Under federal law can not party TV content from local television stations without
permission. And historically has given permission for satellite and cable TV companies roles in
exchange for some fairly nominal fee or consideration for advertising purposes.

HDTV has changed that. Was asked instead of HDTV signals in the same way that standard
definition signals in the past, local television stations are available and in many cases, that large
companies with a couple of TV-now require much more money in exchange for their
content. Some believe that the numbers of TV channels up to fifty cents for each household, the
desire to offer their content. This may sound money, not so much when you multiply it by all
households who apply the contents and form, the number of stations in a given market is
supplied similar amounts of money, adding upa sizeable sum.

The extra money that the TV stations and companies that want to own them, is said by the fact
that HDTV programming will cost more than standard-definition programming produced
justified. This is because for HDTVs to have to be built larger to accommodate the wider viewing
area of ?High Def cameras and high definition programming requires a new and expensive
equipment for filming and editing ofHDTV programming. Even local stations to make
improvements to the distribution of their news programs and other local channels in high
definition. Of course the other angle of this request for more money could have tried on the
growing trend of companies profit milk returned whenever possible.

Of course, cable TV and satellite TV companies are trying this any way she can not resist. They
say they are not required to pay to carry the channel for two reasons.First, they were never in
the past and, second, that the same program content available free over the air, so why should
they, and by extension their customers pay for the same content.

Many industry experts are crying foul tackle this problem together, however, for several
reasons. (And the deeper consequences are mentioned.) First, many people who claim that
because the subscription services do not offer these channels, the participants can not on their
local television stations. (This seems a weak argument, because, as already mentioned, these
free channels already on the cellular network. Apparently, the participants in question is too lazy
to set up an antenna. And when they can not receive signals with a antenna, then it is doubtful
whether these channels are really local big for them anyway!) The other problem is that there is
a fear that if people can not get their local channels, they will not be satisfied with their HDTVs
and then it will not recommend all of their friends. This tower will slow sales of games and affect
the planned transition to digital television in 2009.
